Kootenay Teen News

The Kootenay Libraries are publishing a Kootenay-wide newspaper created by teens for teens!

The Kootenay Teen News welcomes voices from teens aged 13 –19 living in the east Kootenays, west Kootenays, and Boundary region. We are looking for creative, original, respectful, thought-provoking, diverse, and engaging work. Submissions including hate speech, exclusionary language, or excessively graphic depictions of sexual encounters and violence will not be published. Our goal is to inspire our readers by telling stories that reflect the real lives of youth living in this unique part of the world. We look forward to hearing from you!
