During the summer, we offer a Summer Reading Club run through https://bcsrc.ca/ for preschoolers through to tweens. Check with a librarian for details.
The 2024 Summer Reading Club is based on the theme “World of Curiosities”. This is broken down into 7 weekly sub-themes for the program. At the reading club, children gather together to read various books, do arts and crafts, play games, and participate in other fun activities. Special guests will also give the children insightful presentations during the program. Reading is the core focus of the program.
Summer Reading Club 2024 starts July 2nd!
If you are not registered in one of our sessions, we have a drop-in session on Friday afternoons. Please note: room will be capped at 20 children. Children must be potty-trained.
Also if you’re not registered, join in the reading fun with a reading record you can take home! Ask at the front desk.
